Aiming at the special nature of lignite, Dingli coal dryer adopts low temperature four-stage drying process to evaporate the moisture of lignite to less than 13% of water content; remove most of the water under high humidity by 400℃ high temperature to ensure that lignite's chemical composition does not change and it is not easy to be burned; use the crushing device in the drum to hit and break the material repeatedly, and dry it in the downstream to make sure that lignite will not be scorched.
Primary drying: Since lignite starts to burn spontaneously at 270℃, lignite is dried at 400℃ to get out most of the moisture on the surface and ensure that the composition of lignite does not change.
Second-stage drying: The lignite is dried at a high temperature of 300℃ which is close to the ignition point of lignite, and the moisture on the inner surface of lignite is removed under the high coordination of induced draft fan, and it is guaranteed that the lignite will not be burnt.
Three-stage drying: The lignite flows through this area and is continuously knocked and dispersed by the crushing device in the cylinder of the lignite dryer to form a material curtain, which is fully dried again in the temperature of the cylinder of 120-210°C. The lignite is then dried by the crushing device in the cylinder of the lignite dryer to form a material curtain.
Fourth-stage drying: Because the moisture discharged after lignite drying is large, in order to prevent moisture back, this area adopts low temperature of 60-80 ℃ under the action of induced draught system to eliminate moisture, and finally get the lignite finished products.
