The efficiency of production and quality of the feed pellets are not only related to the
pellet machine, but also the technology, including the pellet machine adjustment, repair and maintenance. For one pellet machine, due to the difference of technology and operation, the production efficiency can be a difference of 3 to 4 times. However, in this regard now lack of scientific knowledge, more depends on the experience. Firstly we should consider the feed itself features, including the feed particle size, fat, protein, fiber, starch content, feed moisture, corrosion and friction of feed pellets etc. These factors are related to the pellets production efficiency, reliability and service life of ring die. After make sure the feed feature, we could choose the suitable ring die and steam.
