Distiller's grains drum dryer is a kind of drying equipment commonly used for high-humidity materials such as distiller's grains and slag. It usually consists of dehydration device, drum, support device, transmission device, heat source, dust removal device and other parts.
The process of breaking up materials in distiller's grains drum dryer mainly depends on the following steps:
1. Dehydration stage: The material with high humidity is dehydrated by the dehydration equipment and sent to the distiller's grains drum dryer through the belt conveyor.
2. Tumbling and mixing: After the material enters the drum, the drum starts to rotate. The inner wall of the drum usually has a lifting plate or a flap at a certain angle. Under the action of the rotation of the drum and the action of the lifting plate, the material is continuously rolled, mixed and diffused, so as to achieve the purpose of breaking up.
3. Hot air effect: The inside of the distiller's grains drum dryer heats the material through the heat transfer medium (usually hot air). The hot air enters the drum through the air inlet and contacts the material to evaporate the moisture in the material. The temperature and flow rate of the hot air can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the material.
4. Discharging stage: After a period of drying, the moisture in the material is gradually evaporated, and the material becomes dry. At the other end of the drum, there is usually a discharge port, and the material is discharged smoothly from the discharge port.
Through the above steps, the distiller's grains drum dryer can disperse and dry the materials with high humidity to achieve the required drying degree.
